Are your books available in brick and mortar stores?

Answer:
At this time our titles are only available online. We are working with our distribution partners to get them into the most popular brick and mortar outlets. You can always special order them through your favorite store using the ISBN number listed in our catalog.

Can I be published by StoneGarden.net Publishing?

Answer:
Short answer: Maybe. Long answer: Maybe. Please review our guidelines prior to submitting works to us.

Do you have a boiler plate contact I can read?

Answer:
Sample contracts are available for viewing by clicking on the link in our writers' guidelines.

Question:
Are you a self publishing company?

Answer:
NO. We are a small press who uses Print-On-Demand technology and Just-In-Time business models. This is NOT the same as self publication. We do not publish just anyone, and our books go through rigorous screening and editing prior to publication. If you believe we are Publishing-On-Demand, please continue on to LuLu.com or CafePress (or Publish America), and do not send your manuscript to us.

How many people work at StoneGarden.net Publishing?

Answer:
StoneGarden is a sole proprietorship based in California. There is only one person officially on the payroll.

How many title(s) does StoneGarden.net Publishing produce each year?

Answer:
We strive to publish between twenty and thirty-six titles a year. It all depends on the number of quality submissions that are received.

I would like to book a StoneGarden author for a signing.

Answer:
Please email or telephone the StoneGarden offices to make arrangements.

Who distributes your books?

Answer:
We are distributed by Ingram, along with Baker and Taylor.

Question:
Who does your covers?

Answer:
Just like our editors, we work with a number of independent artists for our covers. You can meet them in our forums if you would like to let them know what a wonderful job they did!

Question:
I am a wholesaler/retailer, how do I order your books?

Answer:
If you are able to order titles from Ingram, please feel free to do so. Otherwise, please email our wholesale ordering division with the ISBN and name of the title(s) that you are looking to purchase, along with a valid contact email and mailing address. Please note that we do not accept Purchase Orders. If ordering for an event, please place your order three weeks in advance, otherwise additional shipping fees may apply
